This app is designed as a fully sustainable business where money is made off the transaction of bottles rather then downloads. For example the average bottle at a club sells for ~$300, BottleService would take 30% of that so the company would make around ~$90 per a transaction. The buyer of this app will have to get clubs to sign up along with users to purchase the bottles. The buyer can get users through a promoter function where the app can automatically allocate a cut of the profit to promoters that promote the app through their connections / FaceBook / Twitter.
From a technical prospective this app has a server component that allows the administrator the ability to add clubs, add bottles for each club, adjust prices for the bottles, add club managers along with other functionality. I am selling this business to work full time on a new venture.

The Bottle Service iPhone and iPod Touch application provides a simple and convenient two-pronged solution to both clubs and users. For clubs, the app helps to eliminate excess capacity by providing a way for listing the prices of bottles available for purchase and then adjusting those prices in real-time. Much like Expedia allows hotels to unload their unsold rooms, the Bottle Service app will provide the same service to clubs, allowing them to maximize potential revenue.
For users, the Bottle Service app provides a simple interface to reserve available tables and order listed bottles. With just a few clicks needed to place an order, the app will be the fastest way for users to reserve their bottles and tables and get onto the club’s VIP list before they enter the club. How it Works (Club and User)
For the club, the Bottle Service app acts as a mini-management system. When clubs sign up, they are given a unique log-in and password that allows them access to the app’s features. Once logged-in, clubs can see the names of people who have ordered that day and whether they have checked-in or not. From this screen clubs have two options: 1. Click a listed name to advance to a new screen that allows the club to view the order details and then confirm “here” or “not here” depending on the party’s arrival, or 2. Click the “Change Bottle Prices” button to advance to a screen that lets the club update and then save their bottle prices in real-time.
For users, the app is a smooth, step-by-step interface that easily and sequentially lays out the necessary steps for ordering bottles and reserving tables. The app uses GPS to track the user’s current location and then lists available clubs within a short distance. The user can select a club, view available bottles, and make a purchase. There are a number of customizable options available to the user on each order, such as “number of bottles” and “number of people in party”. Once these options are set, a review screen appears showing an overview of the user’s order. If the user is satisfied, he or she can move ahead to the next screen to enter credit card information and finalize the transaction.
The payment system is a unique solution designed to optimize simplicity and efficiency with both the user and club in mind. When a user enters his or her credit card information, the Bottle Service app automatically charges the card, completing the transaction. Seconds later, upon a successful charge, the club is authorized to charge a special Bottle Service company credit card. In doing so, the system reduces the difficulty of mobile ordering for the user while ensuring the club receives its payment almost instantly.
Joe is a regular at NYC nightclubs. He and his friends often go out after work, looking for open tables and available bottle service at their favorite clubs. Currently, with no way to get this information, he has to call around and hope for the best.
Steve is in Miami on business. He plans to go out after his conference, but he isn’t sure what clubs are nearby or if they even have open tables and bottle service. He wants to meet his friends and get on the VIP list.
Mark is the owner of a popular Chicago night club. Most nights, his club is full and business is good. On some nights, he finds he has tables that go unsold. Because demand for tables/bottle service is less on these nights, he is willing to drop the price to get people into the club. With no way to change the price in real-time and then alert potential customers, he is forced to watch his tables go unsold.
The Bottle Service mobile application provides a solution to both clubs and users for the struggles faced in the previous three scenarios. At the most basic level, the app allows users to browse nightclubs and bars in their current area (through GPS) and see what prices are being offered for bottle service. Users can then select a club, select a bottle, enter ‘how many’ (both bottle and persons in their party), and place an order. Ordering grants the user and his or her party a reserved table and VIP treatment.
Clubs can use the app to list their available bottles and adjust their prices to fit current demand. Being featured on the app allows the clubs to reach a mass audience of potential customers almost instantly. The app also provides another way to make potential sales and drive traffic to the clubs.
Sometimes, clubs have tables that go unused on a given night. Each night, an unsold table is lost potential revenue, because unlike a good, the table cannot be inventoried. Currently, clubs have no way to change their bottle prices in accordance with demand and then make potential customers aware of these changes on a large scale. With the Bottle Service app, clubs can update their prices in real-time and users can see these updates. Dropping the price on the app will allow a user to purchase a cheaper bottle when he or she may not have been willing to buy at the original price. In this way, the club realizes gains in revenue from their excess capacity that would have otherwise been lost.
