-emobo recently broke the top 500 with downloads, as we currently have over 30,000 downloads
-emobo was the number one book app the first week of its release
-this app is based on the popular Japanese keitai shousetsu, or cell phone novel. In Japan, last year, 3 of the top 5 best selling books in Japan were cell phone novels. This app is connected with Textnovel, which is the only North American website that supports and promotes Keitai Shousetsu. The app is in contract to automatically renew every year with Textnovel for their catalogue of books to appear in eMobo, in addition to books created through emobo.
-with this app, thousands of books are not only available for sale at the push of a button, but if you write a book, your book will get over thousands of views from people that will get the book automatically on their emobo app. It's the best possible way to get your story advertised and read for free.
--emobo has the Kiip rewards system integrated into it.
________________RECENT NOTES____________
The statistics aren't correct on here. Not sure why it's not showing it, but I can show through my integration with Kiip that as of October 2012, over 20,000 plus sessions by users, over 30,000 downloads since May, and has been in the top 500 apps for books several times. I'm sorry that apptopia doesn't show that for some reason.
Additionally, it cost me 10K to make the app, plus I put in an additional 5000 to advertise it. I want at least double that if possible. So 1K is really not something I could do at this time. If you need proof, you are more than welcome to have me show you the graphs and statistics I have. I JUST joined apptopia and it's not showing correctly the numbers. Also, it's a free app. There's no profit yet. IF you bought the app, you would obviously want to do a few things right away, such as make an android version to increase your market range, create in-app purchases, and monetize it further with different ad systems to find out which ones work best with our users. I've made about 6$ with kiip, the rewards plan I have in place, but Kiip works really well with millions of downloads. You would fare better making this an app that offes a free version and a paid version for sure. I just am out of both money and time, as I've spent two years making the app, and I really want to double my money and give this app to a company or person who will take care of the app and grow it as much as possible.
