While the app itself was featured in the Wall Street Journal and on the front page of iTunes, much of the value stems from the comprehensive parking database that includes, GPS coordinates, professional photographs, and information that was collected by actually walking the streets of each city. In addition to Park Place, this listing includes Toll Avoider. While only available in 1 city, Seattle, the concept behind Toll Avoider can work with any toll road. The app helps drivers by using their location and their destination and giving them up to 3 different routes with distances to avoid the toll. It even allows for them to see current toll prices. Both apps were created in-house by a team of 3 in Seattle, WA. All code is written very cleanly and documented so other developers will be easily able to pick up the code and get going with little hesitation.
