Travel Compass is geared towards hikers, geocachers, & outdoorsmen. It allows you to enter coordinates and gives you a compass that points to to that location while also telling you the distance and providing a map. It also allows you to save locations. I've had hunters tell me they use it to save their deer stand locations and find them again later. The app is localized in English, German, Spanish, and French (which means more downloads and higher rankings in countries that speak those languages).
There are a lot of great uses for this combination of navigation features. It might pay dividends to create a series of apps targeted towards geocachers, hunters, etc. with specific features.
I also think tying the app into the OpenCaching API would make it so much more valuable.
The biggest request from users is to add input in D:M:S in addition to decimal coordinates.
The app earns quite a bit of revenue right now, but it could make substantially more if it were improved. With a full-time job and lots of contract work, I just no longer have the time. I'd love to see this developed into a great app since its an app I use myself quite a bit.
